Making Agriculture more Sustainable by offering a Solution to Water Scarcity problem in Agriculture

In line with the problem described, we come up with a unique idea to help farmers struggling with water scarcity in agriculture.

There are few solutions that can possible solutions to the problem of water scarcity in agriculture. Some are Drip Irrigation, Mulching, Hydroponics, and usage of Super Absorbent Polymers (SAPs)/Hydrogels. While Drip Irrigation and Hydroponics are quite expenses and needs a specific knowledge to operate the whole system, mulching will have environment and soil health issue as per the studies carried out on various irrigation techniques.

Another solution which is SAPs/Hydrogel is quite unique and new to the market. Though it is said to be known for the agriculture purpose for the last few decades but considering the chemical effects on soil and effectiveness in terms of water saving, it is not much popular among the farmers.

In our learning with many SAPs/Hydrogel, we come up with an idea to create an Organic Super Absorbent Polymer that doesn't harm the soil, plant, and climate while not reducing its effectiveness in the soil. Considering the cost advantages with existing solutions, it has the upper hand with small and medium-size farmers where they don't need to invest the high amount in buying the solution, and also they don't need to learn anything extra from what they usually do in their farming practices.
